Updated: Feb 12, 2022

Wind Turbine Regulations in Land Use Bylaw

The Municipality of Cumberland is conducting a review of municipal regulations controlling small and large wind turbines. It’s anticipated that this process will take six months, concluding in June, 2022.

Residents and stakeholders have until March 2, 2022 to tell the Municipality their concerns relating to the location, approvals and decommissioning of both small and large wind turbines.
