Take Notice that the Council of the Municipality of the County of Colchester will consider Second Reading of amendments to Chapter 56 - Wind Turbine Development By-law, at a Special Session of Municipal Council. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 1 Church Street, Truro, and virtually via Zoom. The proposed amended Wind Turbine Development By-law, if adopted, will increase the minimum setback requirement for large scale wind turbines and will require a decommissioning bond. The text of the proposed By-law may be inspected or a copy obtained from the Community Development Office, 1 Church Street, Truro or is available on the County website at www.colchester.ca.
