Draft Recommendations
Cumberland County Needs Your Input

The Municipality of Cumberland is conducting a review of municipal regulations controlling small and large wind turbines. Citizens had until March 2, 2022 to tell them their concerns relating to the location, approvals and decommissioning of both small and large wind turbines.

Draft recommendations related to the municipal review of wind turbine regulations are now complete.

Citizens are encouraged to read through the draft recommendations and share their thoughts by May 5, 2022.  Following this second review period, these recommendations will be revised again before starting the final adoption process expected in June.
